Throughout nearly two decades of teaching college writing, my experiences and those of my students have shaped my philosophy of teaching. Stated briefly, when my students walk out of class on the last day or log out of the LMS after submitting their final assignments each semester, my sincerest hope is that they feel valued, respected, challenged, and supported while they learned in our class.
